The DCAF-ICRC Partnership contributes to Ipieca Week

How can oil and gas companies with operations in complex environments or conflict-affected regions tackle responsible security and human rights risk management, all while addressing the growing global demands of the energy transition? This was a key question discussed by over 250 industry representatives at Ipieca Week – the annual meeting of the global oil and gas association for advancing environmental and social performance. From 13-15 March, DCAF-ICRC was active in London representing the DCAF-ICRC Partnership and promoting the Security and Human Rights Toolkit as a problem-solving tool and a practical handbook for the industry to address its human rights due diligence obligations, especially in conflict-affected areas and complex environments.
