Guidelines for the Security Management of Chinese Enterprises, Institutions and Personnel Overseas

On November 7, 2023, the Department of Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation of China’s Ministry of Commerce and the China International Contractors Association jointly released the third edition of the *Guidelines for the Safety Management of Chinese Enterprises, Institutions, and Personnel Overseas*. The guidelines aim to enhance the overall safety management capabilities of Chinese enterprises, institutions, and personnel overseas; assist enterprises in improving their overseas safety risk management systems; strengthen safety assurance mechanisms and core capacity building; effectively prevent and mitigate overseas risks; and achieve high-quality, sustainable development.
