Community Score Card: A tool to strengthen mutual accountability and community-police partnership (SAHAJ and International Alert)

Community Score Card: A tool to strengthen mutual accountability and community-police partnership (SAHAJ and International Alert)

The Community Score Card allows community members to work with security service providers to mutually assess, reflect, relate and collaborate.

Description

In an effort to strengthen community-police partnerships at the local level, International Alert adapted the tool to help bring the community and the police together.

This publication includes both the Community Score Card and findings from its use in Nepal.

While the score card was developed for use by civil society and police forces, it has the potential to be used by companies, particularly those that regularly engage with public security forces.

The report was published by Strengthening Access to Holistic, Gender Responsive, and Accountable Justice in Nepal (SAHAJ) and International Alert, with the support of UKAID.
